Full Description

Whilst working in Crowland Wash in 1961 a workman fromf Crowland found a perfectly shaped axe head about 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide, tapering to about 1.5 inches. Axe identified at Peterborough Museum as Palaeolith - described as being made of green malachite.{1}{2}
