Full Description

A skillet found in Mill Lane, in 1945, during building work. It is in the possession of the finder's daughter.{1} The pot is three legged, cylindrical with a thrown tubular handle and lip. The fabric is red with flaked bright green glazed exterior and less flakey yellow glazed interior. Diameter 6 inches, height 4 inches. Four grooves around the waist and a grooved rim.{2} A revised grid reference was provided by Hilary Healey. {3}
