Full Description

A group of small rectangular ditched enclosures, droves and fields, obscured by medieval working of area, surveyed January 1952. Domestic and saltern debris found, and a definite 'red hill'. Pottery mid C2nd-c300AD. The majority of this perfectly flat area is now laid out to grass.{1} THIS SITE IS WITHIN AN AREA OF CROPMARKS 20165. No earthworks appear to survive on the c.2000 AP's. {6}
