Full Description

Numerous trenches, cut in some cases to the base of the sand about 6ft down, and containing burnt layers, sherds of pottery, animal bones and teeth, mussel shells, revealed when railway cut just south of Pinchbeck Station. Fragments pottery also found in layer of silty loam 2-3 ft down.{1}{2}{3}
