Full Description

Baxter's Mill was standing by 1819 and possibly dates from the eighteenth century. The sails were removed in 1913 and the mill was then dismantled. It had two common and two spring shuttered sails, which drove two pairs of stones. The tower has been shortened to three storeys in height and has a conical roof. It was used as a store in 1977. {2}{3} A Grade II listed tower mill which was built in the early 19th century from red brown brick. It has a plain tiled conical roof and the building is circular in plan. {4}{5}
