Full Description
Clay lake area. Found during the widening of a dyke, was an ash-filled depression cut by the north side of the dyke. The depression produced large sherds of Romano-British pottery, including parts of two grey ware jars, a large piece of burnished grey bowl (imitation samian type 37 with stamped decoration and scratched lines), a sherd of white flagon and other grey ware. {1}
