Full Description

PRN 22356 By indenture of November, 1538, the Prior of Spalding leased Monk's House, Spalding, one of the granges of the priory, to Thomas Kedbye. The current Monk's House is 16th to 17th century in character (See PRN 25141).{1}{2}{3} There is no longer a moat as such; the sole remaining portion being a fragment of the west arm; adjacent ditches are either integrated into modern drainage systems or adapted for landscape gardening. Published survey (25 inch) revised.{1}
