THE POST MEDIEVAL SETTLEMENT OF TYDD ST MARY INCLUDES A RECTORY, MOSTLY OF 1855 DATE, TYSDALE MANOR, NORTH WEST OF THE CHURCH, ORIGINALLY A C16 H-PLAN HOUSE WITH AN OPEN HALL, FLOORED IN IN C17, THE H WAS FILLED IN N C18. {1}{2}
During a watching brief in 1998 at TF 4451 1867, an undated psthole was recorded.{3}{4}
