Full Description

A group of angular ditched enclosures of a probable Romano-British settlement, seen on aerial photographs as cropmarks and soilmarks under plough, at Straight Reach, Sutton St Edmund. Second and/or third century Romano-British sherds were found from the west of the area, and are in Wisbech Museum. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5} The above sherds have been misplaced by Wisbech Museum. The indicated area, under crop, shows no surface evidence of occupation. {1}
