Full Description

A medieval coin hoard was dug up in a garden near Penny Hill Hall, Holbeach, in March 1840. The hoard comprised one gold and 250 silver coins, chiefly of Henry V and Henry VI. The gold piece was a rose noble of a King Edward, though it is not clear which Edward. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}{7}
