Full Description
Roman pottery, samian sherds, found in 1945, 3 ft below the present surface, by Mr Mossop's gardener, when digging a compost pit at Holbeach.{1}{2} This pottery is in the possession of Mr Mossop, who indicated the approximate find site as TF36012392.{1}
