Full Description

Samian ware and large quantity coarse pottery from field no. 387, reported 1961 from previously known Roman site.{1}{2}{3} Very large amount of 'Grey Castor' and gritted RB pottery, and a little samian, reported a teacher of Whaplode School, in 1961. Samian includes sherd from Anton, form 30. (Petch), colour-coated ware, greyware and samian found on same site in 1976.{4}{5} THIS SITE OCCURS WITHIN AN AREA OF EXTENSIVE RB CROPMARKS 20236. {5}{6}
