Full Description

PRN 22205 Cropmarks small rectangular ditched enclosures seen on aerial photographs and investigated April 1952. Scatter of baked clay powder and vessel fragments along one flank of group of six late 1st to 4th century domestic sites was seen. Full examination prevented by crop.{1}{2}{3}{4} The farmer, does not recall archaeological finds. No surface finds made during perambulation and no visual evidence of Romano-British occupation.{1} At TF345178 - Romano-British pottery found.{6}
