Adam, Knight of Hackbeach is mentioned about 1269, and a Sir Robert Hagbech about 1444. Nothing is known of the building of the manor house.{1}{2}{3}
No remains of this Manor House could be identified, and the precise site could not be determined. The house adjacent to the published name is C19 and unimpressive.{1}
