Brunswick or Dring's Mill was built in 1817 when it had four sails and was about four storeys high. In the mid C19 it was raised by another floor. It was refitted with six sails which drove three pairs of stones. It ceased work in the 1930s and became derelict. The cap was blown off c.1963. The sails, windshaft, and cap frame were removed on 15th August 1973 after an inspection in 1971 found that restoration would be too costly. {3}{4}
