Full Description
Few small enclosures at Pear Tree Hill East, Whaplode, on narrow drove running south east and then east from Roman nucleation to NW, are visible on APs as relief and cropmarks, partly obscured by later parallel drainage ditches. Site ground- surveyed in March 1952. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5} The area is under crop and no evidence of occupation was seen. The farmer of the land could offer no further information about this site. {1}
