Full Description
Moulton Free Grammar School, founded in 1561 by John Harroxe. White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was divided into Upper and Lower schools, conducted in separate building. The Upper School building was constructed in 1856, and the Lower School in 1792. The Upper School building has since been demolished, but the Lower School building survives as Harrox House (MLI94361). {1}{2}
