Site visited November 1951, small scatter of C2nd-4th pottery sherds found over a raised area of general soil variation, too ploughed out to distinguish individual sites. {1}{2}{3} The majority of Mrs Hallam's finds are in City and County Museum, Lincoln Perambulations revealed Roman pottery at TF27601902.{1} SPARSE GENERAL SCATTER OF SHERDS WITH NO PARTICULAR CONCENTRATIONS. END OD C2 AND MAINLY C3 - C4. TWO-THIRDS COLOUR-COATED WARE. THE SITE WAS CLAYEY SILT WITH INDEFINITE PATCHES OF DARKER AND MORE SILTY SOIL. THERE WERE NO DITCH LINES AND LITTLE RELIEF VARIATION. {2}{3}
