Full Description
Redeposited fragments of human bone and post-medieval pottery were identified in this location during works conducted by Anglian Water Authority to rebuild the Witham Bank river defences at the western end of Boston Stump. The bone fragments very likely derived from disturbed post-medieval burials from the adjacent churchyard (see PRN 15512). {1}
