Full Description
Undated, possibly Roman period cropmarks at Dowsdale Bar. Double ditched enclosure on three sides, fourth side single ditch. Northeast side is continued in both directions by a straight ditch parallel to a stretch of Dowsdale Bank continuing the line of the straight Drove on the southwest limit of the settlement area. {1}
