Two storey brick building with attic, probably incorporating timbers from an earlier building. Unusual flooring pattern on ground floor, possible non-domestic use perhaps an inn. Single storey kitchen wing built on to rear in late eighteenth or early nineteenth century, later converted to a forge. A small single storey office was added to the front elevation probably in the late nineteenth century. {1} Early 18th century house, altered in the 19th century. Of red brick, with hipped and gabled roof with two ridge stacks. Two-storey with an off-centre later extension.
