Full Description

The northernmost of a pair of type 22 pillboxes to the east of Scrane End, Freiston. The structure was built using wood shuttering, roughly rendered as camouflage, and features a thick interior gun mount ledge. There are projecting exterior embrasure sills, some of which are damaged, although the iron linings to some are still in situ. {1}{2}{3}
