Full Description
Six sherds of Roman pottery were found during fieldwalking of the site north of Kirton Drive. {1}
During work prior to the construction of an agricultural reservoir, several cropmark enclosures said to be Roman were noted and a trench was positioned across part of one enclosure. Environmental evidence indicated the presence of a former stream. The ditch that was uncovered was undated and no occupation debris was recovered. {2}{3}
