PRN 13315
A SERIES OF MEDIEVAL DEPOSITS INCLUDING MORTAR SURFACES SEALING ALLUVIAL LAYERS WERE RECORDED DURING A WATCHING BRIEF ON LAND ADJACENT TO SPAIN LANE. POTTERY AND TILE DATEABLE TO C14 WERE RECOVERED, AND TWO POSSIBLY MEDIEVAL PITS WERE ALSO RECORDED. {1}{2}
FURTHER WORK AT SPAIN LANE REVEALED ANOTHER SERIES OF A FLOOD DEPOSIT AND AN EALIER MORTAR SURFACE. {4}{5}
