RESULTS OF THIS ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVALUATION SUGGEST MEDIEVAL OCCUPATION FROM AT LEAST THE 15TH CENTURY. POTTERY FROM A FOUNDATION TRENCH IS DATED TO THE 15TH CENTURY. PRESENT IN THE EARLIEST RECORDED LAYER, WAS A QUANTITY OF LARGE BLACKENED ANIMAL BONES AND A SHERD OF SHELL GRITTED POTTERY WHICH APPEARS TO DATE TO AROUND THE C13. A LATE MEDIEVAL COIN WAS ALSO FOUND. {1}, HTM 14M
