Full Description
IN 1978, IN WOODS FIELD FIELDWALKING WAS CARRIED OUT BY B SIMMONS. SHELLY WARE POTTERY WAS FOUND AS DETAILED IN FIELD NOTEBOOK. ALSO FOUND WERE SHERDS OF BOURNE D WARE, TOYNTON ALL SAINTS WARE AND MIDLANDS PURPLE. THERE WERE ALSO FIVE SHERDS OF STAMFORD WARE AND A FRAGMENT OF BRONZE.{1}
