Full Description

Sutterton Tithe Award map dated 1878 (but probably copied from an earlier one since only the station area of the railway is indicated) shows a moat here. The north side of it is in dark blue and part of the two towns drain on the south side of it is coloured a lighter blue. The same shape still shows well on the current 6 inch map. The site is now called Dowdyke Hall.{1}
