Full Description

PRN 13035 In 1966 assorted medieval pottery was found during field walking. A sherd of Raeren and Frechen Stoneware were found. Five sherds of stamford ware, including a flat rim (upright), one bulls eye window fragment, one sherd of Midlands Purple, Bourne A cooking pots, fifteen Toynton All Saints sherds including a pancheon, jug rim and three decorated sherds. Five Shelly sherds including a possible rim- all quite large. Two green glazed sherds, possibly Nottingham, fourteen Bourne B and a jug rim and cooking pot handle and two further unidentified sherds. {1}
