Full Description
QUANTITY OF RB POTTERY FOUND. ALSO SOME MEDIEVAL POTTERY WAS FOUND, WHICH WAS SENT TO THE CITY AND COUNTY MUSEUM ON 19TH JANUARY 1977. IN 1976 FURTHER FIELDWALKING WAS DONE BY MEMBERS OF THE PILGRIM COLLEGE ARCHAEOLOGY CLASS. BONES FOUND IN 1979. BOSTON METAL DETECTOR CLUB ALSO FOUND TWO COINS, AT LEAST ONE OF WHICH WAS SAID TO BE ROMAN IN DATE.{1}
