PRN 12972
IRON AGE AND ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY AND BRIQUETAGE, INCLUDING ONE OR TWO WELL SHAPED FRAGMENTS. POTTERY INCLUDED AMPHORA, GREYWARES, EARLY MORTAR, MISCELLANEOUS SANDY INCLUDING DARK GREY (ALL VERY ABRADED).{1}
SAID BY THE FENLAND SURVEY TO BE A PROMINENT MOUND ON A GREY SOILMARK. MOUND IS ON A RODDON BUT APPEARS TO BE ARTIFICIALLY HEIGHTENED. {2}
A geophysical survey which was carried out on the area of a pond enlargement. No evidence of archaeological remains was found. {3}
