Full Description
A box of pottery from Wrangle Primary School was sent to Boston Archaeological Group. Some pots are said to have been there for 20 years. All unprovenanced but fairly certain from the Low Grounds area. Contents included a mixture of Roman and medieval pottery, bricks and stone. Roman material: handbricks from a saltern site. Part of a samian bowl and a fragment of a cup found. Grey wares included a carinated bowl, otherwise bowls and jars (nothing late). {1}{2}
