Full Description
Earthwork remains of a former stone pit, which survive within the 'Stone Pit Plantation', Leadenham. The earthworks are noted on the 1st Edition 25" Ordnance Survey map (published 1886) as an 'Old Stone Pit', and are therefore likely significantly earlier in date. {1}
The earthworks are still visible on LIDAR imagery, as of July 2026. {2}
