Full Description
This building is labelled as a smithy on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. The building is not depicted on the earlier 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map, suggesting it was constructed at some point between 1886 and 1906. {1}{2}
The building is single-storey, and constructed of red brick with a pitched tile roof. It appears to have been extended to the south at some point in the 20th century, and looks to still be inuse as a smithy and and agricultural implement repair yard. {3}
