Full Description
Earthworks of probable Second World War former slit trenches, to the north-west of Naylor's Hills, Laughterton. Visible as linear ditched features with slight up-cast banks, arranged in an incomplete rectangle measuring approximately 60m by 90m. Several small, circular earthworks in close association may be the remains of former bomb craters. It is unclear whether the craters result from an enemy attack on this area, or are the result of later bomb disposal by friendly forces. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
