Full Description

A resource extraction pit and probable bell pit visible as earthworks on LIDAR imagery beneath woodland, on land to the west of Keelby Grange. It is labelled as a 'Bell Pit' on the 1st Edition 25 Inch Ordnance Survey map (surveyed in 1886), and if correct, represents a rare example of this type of extraction method in Lincolnshire. {1}{2}{3}
