Full Description

A range of almshouses visible on the 1st Edition 25 Inch Ordnance Survey map (surveyed 1886), on land to the north of Brickyard, Great Limber. Originally four almshouses, they have since been combined into two properties. A single storey building of buff brick with cross-bays at either end of the main range, under a slate roof. Two double ridge stacks. The windows and doorways have a carved stone hood mould; a single long hood mould sits above two central blocked doorways. The gable elevations have parapets with concrete tile copings and decorative stone shoulders. The Brocklesby Estate coat of arms is displayed in the centre of each gable. {1}{2}
