Full Description
Cropmarks of probable Iron Age or Roman rectilinear enclosures, to the north of Cold Harbour Plantation, Stenigot. Visible on aerial photographs taken in 2003 and 2008, the cropmarks show a smaller ditched enclosure measuring roughly 22m by 23.5m, with a possible entrance on its north-western side, annexed on to a larger ditched, rectilinear enclosure measuring roughly 57m by 61m. The smaller enclosure forms the eastern corner of the larger enclosure, whilst the larger enclsoure is bisected by a modern farm track. {1}{2}
