Full Description
The remains of a pit-like feature was recorded in this location in September 2024, during archaeological monitoring of of groundworks associated with residential development on land at 7 Hall Wath, Bassingham. It was thought likely that the feature had functioned as a simple refuse pit, although no finds or dating material was recovered from its fill, and its exact origin remains uncertain. {1}{2}
