Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow, to the south and east of Gillwood's Grange, North Reston. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. Abuts a water-filled moat of probable post-medieval date, though some unconfirmed speculation exists that the moat may have earlier, medieval origins (see MLI42509). {1}
All of the earthworks in this area appear to have all been removed by more recent ploughing and agricultural activity, as seen on the Google Maps aerial imagery layer. {2}
