Full Description
The remains of a single, north to south aligned linear ditch was recorded in this location in October 2024, during archaeological monitoring of new residential development on land adjacent to 14 Gainsborough Road, Lea. No dating material was recovered from the fill of the feature, and its exact origin and function remains uncertain. {1}{2}
