Full Description

An Early Neolithic flint core and two Neolithic flint blades recovered from land to the east of Binbrook Lane, Ludford, during fieldwalking in 2007. One of the blades was a polished edge blade knife of a type commonly found in Middle Neolithic burial contexts. This may be of importance given the proximity of the find to undated enclosure MLI127550. {1}
