Full Description
An area of ridge and furrow was noted during geophysical survey {1} and exacavation {2}{3} off Gainsborough Road, Lea. Of the area investigated, the northern two fields showed an alignment approximately northeast to southwest, while the southernmost field showed a more strongly east to west alignment. Notably no headland or similar was identified. It was found that the ridge and furrow both truncated earlier remains, and was itself heavily truncated.
