Full Description

A rectlinear enclosure with a possible trackway identified during geophysical survey {1} was later investigated by trial trenching {2}{3}. While the trenching recorded 42 sherds of Roman pottery from a ditch, it appeared the remains had been truncated by later activity including ridge and furrow ploughing. The ditch was oriented approximately north to south, with two possible post pads also recorded.
