Full Description
Possible below-ground remains of ridge and furrow was recorded on land to the west of Caistor High Street, northwest of Market Stainton, during a geophysical survey in 2008. Though interpreted by the surveying archaeologists as ridge and furrow, the linear anomalies recorded are somewhat irregular in form and may instead represent glacial fracturing or other geological processes. {1}
