Full Description
Possible enclosure ditches and pits on land to the southwest of Croxby, Thoresway parish, identified by geophysical survey in 2008. Two intersecting ditches, aligned southeast-northwest and northeast-southwest forming a T-shape were identified, with another northeast-southwest aligned ditch segment identified ~40m to the east. A number of possible pit features or areas of burning were recorded to the north and west of the T-shape ditch segments. Another possible ditch on a similar northwest-southeast alignment was noted ~30m to the south of this group of features. {1}
