Full Description
A series of undated features were identified during geophysical survey (ELI14561) on land north of Boston Road, Heckington. The features consisted on a number of roughly north to south linear anomalies in the southern portion of the surveyed area, which were identified as short ditches. Linear anomalies in the eastern portion of this area were thought to be possible ditches but may be evidence of cultivation. A series of pits were also identified throughout the site, in the southeastern corner and northeastern area. These features were identified as either pits or sites of burnt or fired material. {1}
