Full Description

Trial trenching off Manor Lane, Aisthorpe, recorded a probable enclosure corner or linear ditch run {1}{2}. While no finds were recorded, the feature is located within the extent of Aisthorpe shrunken medieval village and the position and alignment of the north-south portion is the same as a linear feature identified in National Mapping Programme data which may suggest a medieval date. {3}
