Full Description

During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording in January 2006, two large pits were encountered on land at 33 Austerby, Bourne, containing pottery and kiln waste of 15th-17th century date. The pottery assemblage included wasters and possibly represents a primary deposition from a nearby kiln. {1}{2}
