Full Description
Ridge and furrow plough remains were identified in a geophysical survey in 2019 {1}. While the geophysical trends associated with the ridge and furrow extended across the whole of the area surveyed, there were gaps suggesting the remains are either denuded or that soil trends have prevented greater visibility.
Follow up trial trenching excavations only recorded definitive furrows in three trenches, although it is possible that other features on the site interpreted as ditches may have been further furrows. {2}{3}
