Full Description
Cropmarks of a later prehistoric or Roman rectilinear enclosure, to the north-west of Ulceby Lodge. Visible on aerial photographs taken of this area in 1998. The enclosure is sub-rectangular in shape, with a curvilinear annex attached to its north-western side, and a possible further irregular annex to the north of this. A possible entrance is visible in the centre of the south-eastern face. A ditch also appears to extend from the northern corner, to wards the north-east. The primary enclosure measures 44m by 47.5m, with the annex measuring 20m by 18m. {1}{2}
